Recently, my lovely trainers decided to break and now have a hole in the bottom. As it was pissing it down outside, i thought it would be wise to tape my foot up in plastic bags.
It totally worked a treat!!

I think I’ve told the story of the bathrobe before, but it bears repeating. Okay, so we’ve been dating for like, a zillion years, and one day he’s wearing this robe.
"Where the fuck did that come from?" I ask him.
He looks down. "I don’t know."
"What do you mean you don’t know? Why would you wear it if you didn’t know where it came from? It’s hideous."
(Shrugs) "It’s warm."
So. As far as I know the robe is some kind of alien infiltrator. Hal won’t get rid of it. It’s like Venom.

That robe is like Space-herpes, once ya get it ya can’t get rid of it. So, in that sense, it is alien, huh? (ref: Ice Pirates the movie, 1984)
Personally, I rather think it is made from a rejected Azerbaijani tourist rug made by a blind, one-armed, institutionalized, mushroom eating schizophrenic. (wow! I just spelled schizophrenic correctly the first try, without a red line under it … w00ty!) That calls for some B&B brandy (of course, waking up this morning calls for some too …)

I like the idea that it’s Venom.
I don’t know its origin, but I bought it at Salvation army on 4th street, Seattle for a photo shoot (the same day that I bought "old spice"). We needed a bathrobe and my feeling was that it should be the kind of bathrobe that Everyman has, the one you wear on sick days. You know how you ladies have "fat pants?" Same sort of deal. And I’m aware it’s hideous. Here’s the thing, though: it’s brilliantly soft and warm, but never feels sweaty. Also, when I put it on, I pretend I’m Arthur Dent, which is oddly comforting for me.
