Shock water
Is it possible to get electric shock from your kitchen sink if your water heater has a short...?
Or a blown heating element?
Our house has metal piping throughout. We only get the electric shock (minor, like being pricked with a needle) when the hot water is running.
Yes It's very possible that you are receiving a minor electrical shock from any water faucet in you're home. Check the hot water heater for a proper ground. More than likely the water heater is incorrectly or not grounded. If you look at the top of the water heater,where the electrical supply attaches,you should see a screw marked "ground". There should be a green or bare copper wire attached to it. If not the water heater probably has no ground to it. Have someone qualified check it for you. Good luck.

We just put bleach in our spa to "shock" the water. Was this wrong? When can we go in it?

How much bleech did you use in ratio to the water? That is important.
As someone else pointed out, you should check the PH of the water.
Worst case, empty the water out of the spa, and run clean water through the pipes for a bit, then refill it.
