CAMERA or CAMCORDER?

I got a pink polaroid camera for my bday but it sucked so we returned it and I can a new one. But my bday was in DECEMBER so I still haven't decided if i want a camera or a camcorder. i'm thirteen, i don't really film stuff but maybe thats cuz we dont have a camcorder!! my parents have an easy share kodak cam that we all use so I AM CONFUSED!! PLZ HELP!! and what TYPE??
